Center "O" Flying Club

In operation since 1972, we are the longest running flying club in Olympia, Washington. The 50 member club owns three airplanes, all IFR certified with GPS and ADS-B In and Out.

Join the Club

The club maintains a waiting list of approved applicants. From time to time, new applications will be accepted to join the end of the waiting list. The waiting list is about two years currently.

At this time, we are accepting up to three new applicants to join the wait list. The first three completed applications received by email will be considered.

There is an initial fee to become a part-owner and member (the price of which is negotiated with the seller) and a monthly maintenance fee. We give monthly flight-time credits for safety training and for flying within a month.

Rules of Operation

All members are expected to fully abide by the club's Rules of Operations. Please review these rules in detail before applying.

Bylaws

The club's Bylaws describe the legal makeup of the club and decision authority of the board.

Airplane Scheduling

Center "O" Flying Club utilizes an online, web-based scheduling system that can be accessed thru desktop or mobile device.

Airplane Maintenance

Every Center "O" airplane is hangered and has a dedicated maintenance officer who coordinates all squaks and schedules maintenance. All maintenance is completed or overseen by certified A&P mechanics.

Pride of Ownership

All Center "O" club members have an ownership share in the club; when you're a club member, you're an airplane owner. We expect all members to treat and care for the airplanes appropriately as co-owners, not renters.

Application for Membership

Interested in joining the club? Complete the Application for Membership and e-mail it to the club, including required attachments. You will be required to attend a board meeting within three months following your application to discuss your application and receive approval to join. Finally, approved applicants will be placed on a waiting list until an existing member puts their share up for sale. Currently, the waiting list period is approximately two years but may vary.
